Feral Equine photography

I visited the New Forest for the first time this year beginning of May. I normally go there with some friends, also equine photographers, to photograph the horses and donkeys, and enjoy the beautiful nature. The bushes were covered in yellow flowes, bringing beautiful warm tones to the photos.

I thought there would be more foals in May, but we just saw the one, and it didn't look like it could have been more than a week old or so. The horses and donkeys still had their big winter coats, and they were still a bit skinny from winter, but I think they are amazing any time of year.

The New Forest is one of my favourite places to visit, and hopefully I'll make it a few more times this year than last!
